Key projects

Cathode material factory construction (Umicore Polska)
Project type: Greenfield
Role in the project: Project Manager
Scope and scale: Active involvement in the management and supervision of three phases of the plant’s expansion, comprising the construction of three production buildings and the commissioning of 15 new production lines.
Key challenges: Coordination of engineering work, management of multidisciplinary teams, and the adaptation and redesign of production lines to meet the end customer’s rigorous and specific requirements.

Extension of a food production plant (Kerry Group)
Project type: Expansion, modernization and refurbishment of the existing infrastructure.
Role in the project: Project Manager
Scope and scale: The refurbishment and adaptation of the warehouse area to meet stringent high-cleanliness production standards, including the implementation of a zone Clean Room. The project also included the full development of the site for the associated outdoor installations.
Key challenges: Coordination of engineering works under restrictive sanitary conditions; management of the specific requirements of bulk material and mixed powder transport systems, as well as filter-ventilation systems appropriate for controlled zones; and the smooth execution of the project on the premises of an operational plant.

Construction of an industrial fire protection system and power supply infrastructure (Kerry Group)
Project type: Construction of dedicated fire safety and facility power supply infrastructure.
Role in the project: Project Manager
Scope and scale: Installation of a modern hydrant system for a production plant. The project involved the construction of a large-capacity fire-fighting water tank, an advanced pumping station with a diesel generator (emergency power supply), a containerised MV/LV transformer station, and an external hydrant loop around the plant site.
Key challenges: Integration of safety systems with high-power energy infrastructure, ensuring full redundancy of the power supply to the pumping station, and coordination of installation work across a large outdoor area without disrupting the plant’s day-to-day operations.

Construction, maintenance and development of the manufacturing complex (Cadbury / Mondelez International)
Time horizon: 10 years of continuous development of the project and the company’s structures in Skarbimierz.
Career path: A full career progression path – from Project and Maintenance Engineer at the greenfield stage, through to Maintenance Manager, right up to Project Manager.
Scope and scale: Active involvement in the establishment and development of the plant. From building the factory from the ground up within the Cadbury organisation (dosing and mixing process lines), through the day-to-day management of the factory’s technical maintenance, to managing major expansion projects for Mondelez International (including the construction of a new production building and the implementation of advanced base gum process lines).
Key achievement: Comprehensive management of a factory’s life cycle – from the installation of the first machine, through ensuring the operational continuity of an ever-expanding plant, to the implementation of strategic development investments.
Support from the group’s plants : a new biscuit production line (Opava, Czech Republic), work and maintenance organisation (Gaborone, Botswana), the role of the RTO in the coating process.

Construction of a wastewater treatment plant (Kerry Group)
Project type: A new facility next to the existing plant
Role in the project: Project Manager
Scope and scale: Construction of a wastewater treatment plant to reduce process-related pollution.
Key challenges: Supervising the investment and installation of process systems, ensuring full compliance with process documentation, coordinating technology suppliers, and testing and commissioning systems during the factory start-up phase.

Commissioning of production lines and expansion of the machinery inventory (Dantex Sp. z o.o.)
Project type: Modernization, expansion and automation of production lines.
Scope and scale: Comprehensive implementation of a denim garment production line. The project involved the implementation of cutting systems (both manual and fully automated), the structural expansion of the sewing workshop, and the integration of modern sewing machines and multi-head embroidery machines.
Key challenges: Optimisation of material flow within the production process, integration and calibration of automated cutting and sewing machines, and synchronisation of new production cells with the existing factory layout in order to increase operational efficiency.
